Welcome to After Hours! 🎉
Hello humans! I’m Abdul-Hameed Adedimeji, a ‘25 studying mechatronics engineering and “How to recover from burnouts… FAST.” Future medical robotics engineer, totally procrastinating EVERYTHING—thinking of how to make the world a better place by day, sleep deprived technical writer + academic researcher combo at night, aspiring Islamic psychologist/psychotherapist on weekends, professional student productivity consultant 24/7 (among many other things).
My qualifications for this blogging thing include:
- Ability to survive on nothing but bread and WiFi for weeks (I don’t drink coffee)
- Black belt in the art of breaking just about every device I own because “I’m checking something out.” (I can explain)
- Olympic-level skill in balancing 4 personal projects, 5 currently reading books and 25 unread research papers, and an ever growing list of ‘Ooo, what if I’s (I amaze myself at times)
- Expert in randomly speaking a foreign language, with a minor in inspiring you to change the world.
When I’m not reading a research paper or yet another self-help book (pun intended), you might find me tinkering away in my note-taking app Obsidian, or in a 3-hour long conversation on how to make sure students don’t spend the rest of their lives in pain.
